Fairway Transportation is a locally-owned and operated transportation and logistics company specializing in the transportation of equipment, materials, and supplies throughout the United States. They pride themselves on being experts in logistics, servicing their many customers in North America.
The Problem
Fairway Transportation was experiencing a failing phone system and outdated data network. For a logistics company, this spells trouble for both their internal team as well as the clients they are trying to serve. Additionally, the company was moving locations and growing in response to the country’s supply chain demands. Between the move and keeping up with the transporting needs, it was the perfect time and opportunity for Fairway to update and overhaul their technologies.

Phone System, Data Network, Cyber Security, Wireless Access, Keyless Entry, Gate Entry, Audio Video. CNG started by installing Paxton Wireless Access on every entrance point at the facility. Then, we made sure there were outdoor kiosks for 24/7 truck entrance/exit with cameras. CNG went with the Avaya IP-PBX Voice -over-IP phone system, Unified Threat Protection software, remote Virtual Private Network (VPN) connectivity, and a Fortinet full network switch refresh with secure wireless deployment.
Results:
Fairway is now operating with a completely secure network.
The entire office has enough bandwidth to communicate via voice and video.
Trucks can enter 24x7x365 with the entry solution.
